Will Text Messaging Prove Successful For RehabCare?
Who doesn’t text? In today age text messaging has become the new email. With this in mind RehabCare recently rolled out our SMS, a.k.a. Cell Phone Text Messaging, initiative at the AOTA/NBCOT National Student Conclave in Pittsburgh, PA. When students stopped by our booth we gave them the option of texting “AOTA” to 20964. After students text the number given they just have to answer a few basic questions regarding their discipline, graduation date and interest. By doing this they register themselves with RehabCare and are set up to get updates sent to their phones regarding our company and future job opportunities. We are still waiting to see if this is going to be a productive marketing tool for us, but we are excited to see what happens. A recent blog posted on collegerecruiter.com featured their use, and their network partner’s use, of SMS and the positive outcomes they have gotten.
