More iphone Apps We Like!
Our article last week about the iphone app coming out of Australia for Speech therapists generated alot of chatter so I figured we could highlight a few more apps that you may find useful. A couple of these are going to be more useful for students, but there is something for everyone on this list-students and professionals alike!
Letter Tracer-This app costs $.99 and is great to help with learning how to write. The letter or number is shown and the patient then uses their finger to write the correct letter.
Netter's Anatomy Flash Cards- Tired of writing out all those notecards to study for your A&P exams? Check out this app! At $39.99 it is the most costly app we're highlighting, but it may in fact be well worth it!!
Occupational Therapy Examination Review Guide- Get tired of having to lug your exam prep books around with you? Why not take them everywhere you go! In line in the cafeteria? Study for your exam, waiting for your laundry at the laundromat, perfect time to study! This too will cost you a pretty penny, but for $29.99 you may want to check it out!
My Therapy Exercise- I love all the apps we have showcased thus far, but I think this one sounds really cool! What does it do exactly? This app has 170 different stretching, range of motion, and strengthening video clips complete with instructions on how to do the exercise. You can customize a workout and only include the exercises that address your patients needs. At $19.99 you may want to spend the money and check it out!
Pocket SLP- This app gets great reviews in the App Store! It costs $29.99 but is very useful for Speech Therapists…why? because speech therapists designed it. In addition to helping with your treatment this app also offers the ability to email reports about progress straight from the app!
