High School Students Turn Wii Remote into PT Tool

  • Check out this senior project that three high school students from Fremont, Ohio completed to help patients with their therapy. We’ve heard a lot of news about therapists using the Nintendo Wii games to aid in patient therapy, but this new device will actually transmit the results of the exercise to the physical or occupational therapists in order to track progress. The students took a Wii remote and turned it into a mouse. They also attached Velcro straps to the remote so that it could be strapped to the patient’s arm.
